We have a foreign exchange program with the Leonardo Da Vinci School in Lima, Peru.
Seventh and eighth grade students from Peru visit Barnesville for three weeks in January
and February, and in June and July, three or four Barnesville students travel to Peru.
Students live with host families, attend school, and go on field trips to cultural and
historical sites. is wonderful enrichment vehicle touches the lives of all of our Middle
School students and raises awareness of the global community.
DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language)
Exchange Program
Qualified seventh and eighth graders prepare for and take the DELE Exam which
measures proficiency in vocabulary and grammar as well as reading and listening. ese
exams are official international titles certifying degree of competence and mastery of the
Spanish language, granted by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain.
