Strategic Planning Process
The Board of Trustees initiated strategic planning in
the spring of 2010, exploring varying outlooks and
aspirations for the School. The Board also conducted
a survey of current parents, analyzed demographic
trends and engaged faculty in discussions.
It was resolved that the current mission statement
still captures the essence of the School, but the vision
and positioning should change for the School to grow.
This document outlines the Board's vision for how the
school will progress over the next five years. It serves
as a blueprint for the Head of School to develop and
implement an operational action plan to achieve the
stated goals.
The renowned academic-focused architectural firm
Bowie Gridley was engaged to develop a missionfocused facility master plan consistent with this vision.
