Each day campers will participate in building and programming challenges that become increasingly difficult as the week progress- es. Campers work together to solve these challenges. Bring an open mind and your creative problem solving abilities. No previous experience required! Shipwrecked: You are shipwrecked and you must find a way to live with only the few things you salvaged from your ship before it sank. Each day the campers will face a different set of challenges. Given limited resourc- es, how would you live in different environments? You may find yourself on a tropical island or on the frozen tundra. Can you create a shelter and find food? Are you up to the challenge? June 23-27, 2014 (Week 2) (w/ Rec Camp: $330; w/o Rec Camp: $180) Adventure Bound: Do you enjoy extreme sports and great outdoor activities? Join Barnesville and Cal- leva as we experience the low and high ropes courses, hiking through the Sugarloaf Mountains, or tubing and rafting on the Potomac River. Puppet Parade This camp combines the visual and performing arts. Campers will create different types of puppets from finger and sock puppets to marionettes. After creating their puppets, campers will write and perform puppet shows at our end of the day Pow Wow. Show off your creativity and imagination! June 30-July 3, 2014 (Week 3) (w/ Rec Camp: $265; w/o Rec Camp: $145) Science Camp: Explore the science of motion this week. Activities focus on movement, balance, and flight. Create a paper flying machine, play with bubbles, build and fly a kite… these are a few highlights. Show off your creations at our camp-wide potluck picnic on July 3. Camp is closed Friday, July 4. America, the Beautiful: Join us as we celebrate the red, white, and blue all week long. We will play colonial style games, create red, white, and blue crafts, make mini apple pies, and play baseball.
