Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences Summer Camp 4 Summer Camp BarnesvilleSchool.org middlE sChool miChElangElos (6Th-9Th) Sports & Games, June 16-20 (Week 1) ($330) This week is all about team and individual sports. Play basketball, soccer, kickball, and flag football. Learn some new games like Spikeball, Trangle Ball, and one of last year's favorite games – Nine Square in the Air. Drama and Set Building School House Rock: June 23-July 3, 2014 (Weeks 2 and 3) ($595) During this two-week session, campers will be involved in all aspects of putting on a stage production. Ms. Valerie will be here to teach choreography and songs from School House Rock. Campers will work on their per- formance skills and learn about stage direc- tions. Campers will also create the sets and props for the show. Basic carpentry skills will be introduced. Parents are welcome to join us for our performance at the camp-wide potluck picnic on July 3. Camp is closed on Friday, July 4. Adventure Bound, July 7-11 (Week 4) ($330) Enjoy extreme sports and great outdoor activities? Join Barnesville and Calleva as we experience the low and high ropes courses, hiking through the Sugarloaf Mountains, or tubing and rafting down the Potomac River. STEM: July 14-25, 2014 (Weeks 5 and 6) ($660) This two week session allows campers to explore the world of Science, Technol- ogy, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Each day will bring new challenges. Explore Robotics using our Lego Mindstorm Robotics kits. Build a product to fill a need and find efficient ways to mass produce it. Experiment with chemical reactions. Play strategy games and solve logic problems. Join us for two weeks of STEM fun! Explore the Visual Arts: July 28-August 8, 2014 (Weeks 7 and 8) ($660) Explore your creative side! Spend a few days drawing, painting, and sculpting. Choose activities you enjoy and take some time to learn new skills. Other days will focus on digital photography and graphic design. There will be many off-cam- pus field trips during this two-week camp.
