Kupferberg Cup Award
The Kupferberg Cup is awarded to a 4th grader
selected by the faculty who displays great character
and leadership potential.
The 2017 Kupferberg Cup was awarded to Asher L.
Teachers commented that Asher exemplifies the
character words we focus on at Barnesville -- kind-
ness, service, perseverance, respect, initiative, cour-
age, cooperation, responsibility, and honesty. Asher
loves to learn and is always striving to absorb as
much information as possible in every class he at-
tends. Asher has many natural leadership qualities
that he has demonstrated with his classmates and
Buddies.
Asher was traveling out of the country on the day
of graduation, so he learned about the award by
watching a video with his mom later in the day. This
fall, he accepted the award at Morning Meeting.
