MUSIC Singing is the basis of our kindergarten music classes, along with simple dances, acting-out activities, and rhythmic actions. rough music, students celebrate the seasons, observe traditional holidays, and learn about agricultural cycles. Kindergarten has music class twice a week. LIBRARY e library is a wonderful place at the heart of our school that fosters a love of books. Kindergarten sessions are closely linked to the classroom curriculum with book selections that enrich and expand the units. Students are taught how to care for books, that they are kept in alphabetical order, and that each book has a special address. Penguins — Building Research & Presentation Skills After reading multiple stories and other books about different varieties of penguins, each student chooses one type to study in-depth. They examine what they look like, what their babies look like, where they live, and what they eat. Students are introduced to basic online research, finding images using Google that they use to make an iMovie as par t of their repor t that they share with the class.
