SPANISH Kindergarten has Spanish class twice a week. We celebrate the Spanish language and introduce vocabulary through songs, rhymes, puppets, stories, movement, art, and crafts. Children learn to respond to Spanish language input with appropriate physical responses, slowly developing verbal output. Inquiry-Based Learning When we introduce a new concept, we star t with questions. Why is it warmer inside than outside in the winter? How can you tell it is windy? When can you see water change from a liquid to a solid? What are different ways you can change it back to a liquid?
