INAUGURAL ALUMNI GOLF
OUTING AND CONCERT
Friday, October 14, the Barnesville School of Arts &
Sciences Board of Trustees hosted an alumni golf
outing and evening social, featuring a live concert
by Barnesville's own, Lexi Peto. P.B. Dye Golf Club
provided the perfect setting for the scramble tourna-
ment and sunset concert overlooking the greens.
The Monocacy Monocle featured a story about Lexi
in advance of the concert. "I thought it was pretty
cool," Peto said, "that even though I graduated, they
still keep me involved...One of the things I love about
Barnesville is that even after you graduate, the con-
nection is pretty strong."
Lexi performed songs from her CD Where I Belong as well as some songs from her new
EP and select covers. She was selected to compete in the Nashville Songwriters Asso-
ciation International (NSAI) Top 40 competition.
The golf event was a fundraiser to support Barnesville and is planned as an annual
event.
