She is enjoying all of her classes and has made many new friends. Of course, she also misses her friends and teachers at Barnesville and looks forward to stopping by to catch up sometime soon. Caught on Campus! Barnesville alumnus, Benny Hungerford '07, stopped by campus in October to talk to our 8th graders about life at a military academy. Benny attends the Merchant Marine Academy and plans to go on to active duty Navy service after graduation. We asked him to reminisce about his time at Barnesville: What is your fondest memory of Barnesville? The Peruvian Exchange Program. We hosted a student named Renato. We got together with other host families and showed the exchange students around D.C. I love that Barnesville is a small school, but is able to reach out internationally. What is it like being back on campus? Interesting. It's been fun seeing what has changed and what has stayed the same. The changes have been for the better. 9 '07
