Hough Endowment Fund for Professional Development was created to provide financial support for on-going, faculty enrichment. Named in honor of Jeri Hough (Head of School 1984-2006) and established in 2006, the Fund enables teachers to attend conferences and classes. Their new knowledge and ideas are brought back to the classroom to further benefit our students. Founding donors' gifts to the Hough Fund and new contributors' gifts give our faculty the opportunity to follow in Jeri's footsteps, fulfilling her passion for creating life-long learners. 2012-2013 Recipients Consuelo Campos (Preschool-3rd Grade Spanish) - American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Annual Conference David Martin (Athletics Director) - Tuition support for Master's degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education; workshops through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Jamie Morningstar (Lower School Teacher) - Association of Independent Maryland Schools (AIMS) Technology Retreat Tuition & Activity Fees: 72% Salaries & Benefits: 72% Annual Fund Drive: 6% Academic & Student Programs: 7% Gala & Auction: 4% Financial Aid: 7% Other Philanthropic Contributions: 2% Auxiliary Income: 7% Other Miscellaneous Income: 2% Investments: 2% Facilities and Maintenance: 4 % Technology: 2% Debt Service: 5% Professional Services: 3% Travis Wooden (5th Grade Teacher) - Tuition support for Master's degree in Teaching Daniela Zeppos (4th-8th Grade Spanish) - American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Annual Conference Other Administrative: 19% 2 Annual Report 2012-2013
