Barnesville School Magazine From the Head of School Hello to all our Barnesville alumni! I t is wonderful to reconnect and provide you with updates on your fellow classmates. Our alumni have accomplished many great things since leaving Barnesville's walls, as you will see in this newsletter, and I am so happy for your achievements. We have many talented scholars, artists, inventors and athletes, all reaching new milestones in their lives. I believe that the people who most enjoy reading this alumni newsletter, though, are our faculty. Barnesville teachers have amazing memories. Though it may embarrass you to know that our teachers remember exactly what you were like when you were 5, or 15, they read these articles with great pride. And they have every right to be proud, as they helped to guide you on your pathway. Each one can claim at least a little credit for your success, and I imagine that as you think back to your former teachers, you will remember at least one transformative experience that shaped you. Though we have many updates to share with you, we need your help. For as many updates as we received from alumni and their parents, there are just as many updates that haven't yet reached our doors. So if you have a friend whose name can't be found on these pages, please give them the nudge to send us an email or postcard with the latest information. And, as always, please come back to visit Barnesville when you're in the neighborhood. I'll warn you – everything will look a little smaller than how you remember it (especially the chairs and the water fountains). But you will also find a faculty that misses you and wants to hear everything. Please come share your stories in person!
