Summer 2013 From the Editor Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Barnesville School Magazine! W e are pleased to offer our alumni and their families a new way to keep up with the many amazing things you have accomplished since leaving the halls of Barnesville. We also hope you will enjoy hearing about all of the fascinating things our current students have been up to! This new publication is only one of many projects the Barnesville School is looking to offer our alumni and alumni families. Through these efforts, we hope to (1) keep in touch with you so that we might be helpful to you in your academic or professional career; (2) help you keep in touch with each other; and (3) let you know of all the wonderful activities we have going on at Barnesville. lumni ate A For example, we will soon offer an online "Alumni Directory." Once this project is completed, alumni will be able to sign into our website and access a secure listing of current contact information their former classmates have provided. (Alumni: If you would like to include your contact information in this directory, and have not yet responded to our earlier mailings, please fill out and return the Alumni Update Form located on page 13 or send an email to cwalters@ barnesvilleschool.org). -D -the Save c. 19 In addition, all alumni will be invited back to campus on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, from 2 – 4 , De y pm. Come visit your old classrooms and catch up with the teachers, staff and each other! For rsda Thu 2 - 4 pm those who prefer an evening event, please join us for the Middle School's January Jubilee on lumni ate A Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014. Come early to enjoy pizza with your former classmates and stay to see the Middle School students' performance. (Alumni Parents: we didn't forget about you! Please join us on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, for a reunion of your own. More details will follow this fall, but be sure to mark your calendars!) Each year, the Barnesville School Magazine will publish a winter issue and a spring issue. Since Barnesville is a green school, except for any "special editions," all future issues will be n. 29 published exclusively online. Therefore, to ensure receipt of the Barnesville School Magazine, ay, Ja e nesd y Jubile please make sure that we have your updated email address.
