Barnesville School Magazine Class Notes '90 '92 '98 '99 '01 Anthony ("A.J.") Thompson '89 and Kendall Mackintosh-Thompson '90 were married in 2003 and recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary. They live in Bethesda with their three children: daughter Skyler, 7, and sons Colten, 4, and Beckham, 2. A.J. owns a private equity company based in Bethesda. After working as the Director of Events at The Comus Inn, Kendall started her own wedding and event company in 2007. They enjoy a busy schedule with their children, two dogs and a second home on the water in Annapolis. Brooke Atkinson Boone '92 is a registered nurse in Critical Care at Winchester Medical Center. She is married to David and has four children: Gage, Vanessa, Harper and Camden. She writes, "One of my patients 2 months ago had many visitors, and one of the visitors went to Barnesville School, too! It truly is a small world!" Alison Gannon (Brown) '98 graduated from the University of Delaware in 2006. She worked on Capitol Hill for a year before attending graduate school at Texas Tech University, where she graduated with a M.S. in Food Microbiology in 2009. She married Eric Gannon (TTU '08) in 2010 and lived in South Texas and New Orleans before moving back to Maryland in 2012. They recently bought a property outside of Urbana and have been fixing sometime in July. The Kontner Family at Barnesville Graduation 2013: Rikki '06, Randi '08, Bridgette '13, John and Sabrina it up with the hope of moving in Elisabeth Arzt '99 currently resides in Oakland, CA. Upon graduating from the Corcoran College of Art and Design, she has run Fine Arzt, LLC, which specializes in custom sculpture projects, especially chainsaw carving. Her website is FineArzt.com. Barbara ("Barbie") Stull '99 graduated with a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Maryland. After graduation, she purchased Cuginis Pizza in Poolesville, MD. She writes, "I am happy to carry on the Barnesville tradition with my daughter, Cienna, who will be in 3rd grade at Barnesville in the fall." Sarah Maderia (Bienkowski) '01 lives in Pennsylvania with her husband of almost three years. She is a special education teacher and is entering her fifth year of teaching. She and her husband are expecting a baby in December 2013. 10 Samantha Roos '01 teaches at the Friends Meeting School and coaches soccer.
