40 FraGrant Persian dinner Party 4 Fragrant Persian Dinner Party for Ten Couples Captivating cuisine with a variety of traditional Iranian culinary delights. The combination of colors, textures, flavors, and aromas of Persian spices used in old family recipes, stretching back for centuries, is truly a cheerful feast for all your senses. A few items on the menu includes Persian Jeweled rice, which is a saffron basmati rice layered with slivered pistachios, almonds, barberries, raisins, orange peel, and julienne-cut carrots, a 4-hour slow cooked spring lamb shank in a very flavorful plum sauce, and Albalo polo, which is a Persian saffron rice layered with sour cherries and pistachios served with cardamom-saffron chicken. This dinner will also include a rare "Grand Marnier tasting" from Behnam's infamous Grand Marnier collection. Starting bid is $250 per couple.
