"All good things must come to an end. Without an end, the experience as a whole is less precious," Anne said, speaking to the soon-to-be graduates. "Today is a bittersweet day, but while you will no longer be students at Barnesville, you are leaving because Barnesville has prepared you, and prepared you well, for another opportunity that you can explore." Annual awards were presented to the following students: • Kupferberg Cup Award, for a 4th grader selected by the faculty who displays great character and leadership potential – Liam Goins • Board of Directors Award, for outstanding writing of the 8th grade required research paper – Penelope Smith • Jaralyn Hough Award, selected by fellow 8th grade students as person of outstanding character – Asia Claus • Sue King History Award, for demonstrated passion and aptitude for history – Aidan Ol- cott • Thompson Butz Award, selected by the entire faculty and staff to recognize outstanding citizenship – Ryan Parsons Students crossed the stage to receive their graduation certificates, ascending the stage as joyful Barnesville students and exiting as proud alumni. "WE'RE AN EGGCELLENT CLASS" -CLASS OF 2016
