Barnesville School Magazine 2006 2014 Nick Molyneaux High School: Poolesville High School Global Ecology Program Favorite Aspect of Barnesville: How tight-knit the community is and all that comes with that (i.e., the Buddy Program; teachers who take the time to get to know you; and looking around the hall and not seeing strangers, but friends). Favorite Memory of Barnesville: I have a lot of fond memories of Barnesville, like playing with my buddy or going to Marlu Ridge. However, my favorite memory has to be the Sheridan Trip where we went on a hike, played "herbivore, omnivore, carnivore" and went on a canoe trip. Barnesville Extracurricular Activities: Lacrosse About High School: I'm looking forward to making new friends at Poolesville, but also sad about leaving my old friends behind. Future Career: Engineer and inventor Graduation Quotation: "I am very grateful to the Barnesville faculty and all of my teachers for encouraging me to work towards academic excellence. I felt welcomed when I transferred to the Barnesville School in first grade. e school has a loving and friendly atmosphere which makes students feel safe and welcomed." 2009 2014 Anna Morrison High School: Poolesville High School Independent Study Program Favorite Aspect of Barnesville: Everyone is so kind and welcoming! Favorite Memory of Barnesville: Doing the surprise " riller" dance on Halloween. It was so much fun to dress up like zombies and surprise the school. Barnesville Extracurricular Activities: Anastasia; cross country; e Wizard of Oz; chorus; lacrosse and soccer About High School: I am excited to explore a new environment and make even more friends, but I am not looking forward to leaving my 8th grade class – we've become a family. Future Career: Possibly an actress, chef, or doctor Graduation Quotation: "As I move on to high school, I will cherish these moments with my friends.
