Grab you Hawaiian shirt and grass skirt and come to our luau. Join us for a week of sun, sand, and water! Explore the Outdoors: June 23-27, 2014 (w/ Rec Camp: $330; w/o Rec Camp: $180) At Barnesville we love to spend time outside. This week campers will explore our big, beautiful campus. You never know what you will find when walking in the woods or along a stream bed. It is all about nature this week. Friday is Wet and Wild Day, so bring your swimsuit and join us for a day of water play. Stars & Stripes: June 30-July 3, 2014 (w/ Rec Camp: $265; w/o Rec Camp: $145) This is a short week of camp – we are closed Friday, July 4. Join us as we celebrate the red, white, and blue all week long. We will play colonial style games and create red, white, and blue crafts. Families are welcome to join us on Thursday afternoon for a camp-wide potluck picnic. Cele- brate the 4th of July all week long! Eric Carle: July 7-11, 2014 (w/ Rec Camp: $330; w/o Rec Camp: $180) Celebrate one of our favorite children's authors this week. Eric Carle created some interesting characters – the hungry caterpillar, the grouchy lady bug, and the mixed-up chameleon to name just a few. The crafts and games will be based on his enjoyable stories. The Final Frontier: July 14–18, 2014 (w/ Rec Camp: $330; w/o Rec Camp: $180) Look up at the night sky, what do you see? This week is all about stars, planets, comets, asteroids, and space travel. One of the highlights of this week will be a visit from the traveling planetarium. Do you have a twin somewhere in the universe? Friday we will celebrate this possibility with Twin Day! Plan to dress like one of your camp friends and enjoy a day of twin activities.
