The Barnesville School 422. 1st Grade Class Project $500 The expression "A picture is worth a thousand words" may seem cliché, but the words our first graders use to describe their experiences at Barnesville in first grade far exceed one thousand. The excitement and interest they showed in having a book of their own shines in the images of these close-knit friends. Each hardcover 8"x8" Yearbook, has 30 pages, including a two-page spread for each student and class pages showcasing their favorite things about First Grade. First Grade ~ Class of 2020 423. Chopped Chefs Battle $500 Test your culinary skills in the kitchen by challenging another family to the second annual Chopped Chefs Battle. The kitchen, ingredients, drinks and dinner are provided by your host, the Rothenbergs; you bring the heat! Competing families will be timed as they prepare an appetizer using surprise ingredients, then each family will prepare a dessert using their favorite recipe. Children are encouraged to take control as the Executive Chefs with parents serving as Sous Chefs. The remaining parents will join the panel of esteemed judges. One family will be crowned Champion while the other family will be Chopped! Mr. & Mrs. Ed & Eve Rothenberg 424. Golf with Brian Mitchell $750 You and two buddies will enjoy a memorable round of 18 holes at The Members Club at Four Streams where you will be joined by former Washington Redskins' running back and kick-returner, Brian Mitchell. Mitchell, the current host of Comcast SportsNet's Sports Talk Live, was a key member of the Washington Redskins from 1990-1999 and was a member of the Redskins' 1991 Super Bowl winning team. After retirement, he was inducted into the Redskins' Ring of Fame and was named one of the 80 greatest Redskins.
