rich in the humanities,
arts,
math and science.
A
s a woman currently pursuing a PhD in Geophysics, I recognize how critical a
solid grounding in science is for understanding and solving many
of the problems the U.S. and the global community now face. Nonetheless,
humanities, social sciences, and the
arts play an equally critical role in
dealing with these problems, which is why I think the most important word
in Barnesville���s new strategic vision���is the word ���AND.���
