Family Fun Night 2013 Letter from the Head of School I want to welcome everyone to our incredible 2013 Family Fun Night! Tonight we are Groovin with the Beatles, so lets all come together and have some fun! There is something for everyone in the rich, deep catalogue of the Beatles. Whether its the straight-ahead early rock & roll songs of the 60s, the experimental and psychedelic songs of the 70s, or the pop ballads from throughout their recording history, just about everyone knows the Beatles, and just about everyone has a favorite Beatles song. (If forced to choose, Id have to go with Norwegian Wood, with For No One as a close second. Im a sucker for a tightly crafted twominute pop song.) Just as theres something for everyone in the music of the Beatles, there are activities for all ages and stages at Family Fun Night. Enjoy the many contests, crafts, and free activities scheduled throughout the evening. And dont forget to try your luck in the raffle! As you take in the sights and sounds of the Beatles this evening, please be sure to thank the important people who made tonight possible. Just as the Beatles had producer George Martin working behind the scenes to help make their music so successful, so too do we once again have Deb Weiss-Collins and Melanie Gekas overseeing the night and making the magic happen. Special thanks to Kristen Carter and Robin Snider for their hard work, as well as Gala Co-Chairs Lynn Brown and Angel Rutsch, and BPC President Paula Russin. Enjoy the night!
