you! This talented artisan will show participants how to use a sewing machine to make a
drawstring bag. Includes two hours of instruction and all supplies. Along with the class you
will receive the perfect starter sewing kit with everything you need for small repairs or your
first quilt project. Kit includes needles, thread, thimble, scissors, pins and pincushions.

Ann Brown, high school art teacher and long-time Poolesville resident, is offering camp in
art and clay for kids this summer on a farm just outside of Poolesville. Children's camp,
ages eight and above, covers a wide range of media from clay, to tie-dye and batik, bam-
boo flutes, papier mache, water color, nature study and nature art, print-making and more.
