Special Appeal - Financial Aid
The Barnesville School has always had a strong commitment to diversity including
socioeconomic diversity. We believe that our students' experience is made better
and our community stronger through this dedication. To honor this foundational
principal, I am pleased to announce that our special appeal this year will be for
financial aid. It remains a priority that our exceptional program is accessible to those
families with demonstrated financial need. Donations in our "raise-a-paddle" during
the Live Auction will go directly to tuition assistance. Please join me in supporting this
much needed funding.
The following heartfelt quote from a parent reminds us all of the priority of this
appeal:
"Without the financial assistance of such an endowment as this, the trajectory of
our child's academic success would most likely plateau. Our child's progress socially
and intellectually has been all we hoped for and more since transitioning to attend
Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences. Our family and child need Barnesville and it is
our earnest hope that with the consideration of awarded financial aid support funds
we will be able to procure attendance and continue to protect the bright future our
child is destined to attain."
