37 Lamb Lamb We have a great crop of beautiful lambs this spring on Shepherd's Hey Farm, and one of them could be yours! Option 1: Live Lamb! Very cute and easy to keep. We will help you choose the most appropriate pet from several of our ram lambs (will be neutered as neutered males, or wethers, are the easiest to handle and make the best pets). Our sheep are bred to produce the highest quality wool for hand-spinning, and most are natural colored. Take him home to your pasture or lawn, or we can keep him at the farm for you for a predetemined amount of time (time to be determined by the start of the Gala). Option 2: Fresh local lamb for your freezer! We will keep it for you until it's ready for butcher. You choose how you want it cut (we can help you with this — chops, rib roasts, boneless legs, bone-in, etc.) and then we'll call you when it's ready for delivery (vacuum sealed and frozen) in October or November (approximately 30-40 lbs).
