Bread and Beauty Book The Montgomery County Agricultural reserve brings beauty and peace to our students every day when they drive to school. Many graduates in their 8th grade speeches have commented on how they are thankful that they were able to start every day in the country. Bring a piece of that beauty home with this Bread and Beauty Cookbook signed by the author. This book was created by the supporters of the Montgomery County Agricultural reserve. OB: $50 Ms. Debra DeRuyver & Mr. Daniel Tobocman 91 92 English Etching Signed antique etching by English artist Walter Dendy Sadler (1854-1923). This expertly framed piece, entitled "The Old and the Young" depicts a family relaxing around the breakfast table, and would look stunning in your own dining room! Sadler produced over one hundred and seventy prints in his lifetime, many showing happy people enjoying the pleasures of drink, food and leisure activities. Sadler's prints are famous for depicting au- thentic costumes, as well as furniture, stemware and other decorative arts. His subjects were usually set in the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century with sentimental, romantic and humorous themes. Before painting a scene he would create elaborate settings in which local villagers would often pose as models. It includes one print "Buford's Calvary" by Mort Künstler, who is renowned as "the premier historical artist in America." It also includes the book Invaders in Our Town signed by the author and dedi- cated to Barnesville. While you're reading, sip on two wines from Adams County Winery, "Rebel Red," and a white, "Tears of Gettysburg" and two beautiful crystal glasses. You also can sip on mulled cider or fresh coffee from Gettysburg appropriately named "The General" in a Civil War mug. In the basket, you will also find a polish pottery that includes spoon rest and spoon.
