e core values and traditions are the same from when I was at Barnesville until now.
Cienna and I both made holiday plates each year. I have a nice collection dating back to
1989. Mrs. Roos was my gym teacher! Mr. Hart was my 8th grade teacher and accom-
panied my class on the 8th grade New York City trip, and he was Cienna's 7th grade
social studies teacher. Mrs. Gekas started teaching 3rd grade when I was in the 4th
grade. I was ecstatic for Cienna to have her as a teacher.
Barbara is the owner of Cugini's
Pizza restaurant in Poolesville.

Cindy Fowler, Barbara's mother, has served two generations of students as a
Barnesville volunteer! She has donated floral arrangements for numerous
special occasions at Barnesville, including Grandparents' and Grandfriends' Day.
