The Barnesville School Summer Camp
Drop-in Travel Camps
During the week of Fourth of July, The Barnesville School Summer Camp is offering
three day-long field trips. (Camp is closed Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5.) The
field trips are open to campers age 3 through ninth grade. Lunch is provided each day.
Monday, July 1: Trip to Adventure Park USA
Campers will each enjoy an all-day pass to the attractions at
Adventure Park USA in New Market, MD. Activities include
miniature golf, bumper boats, carousel, laser tag and many
others. There are height and weight restrictions for all of
the rides. Lunch is included.
Tuesday, July 2: Trip to Port Discovery
Join us for a day of exploration at one of the top five children's
museums in the country, Port Discovery in Baltimore. Campers
will enjoy trekking to a pharaoh's tomb, playing with water in the Water Works, and climbing the three-story urban
tree house. Lunch is included.
Wednesday, July 3: Trip to Brookside Gardens
and Wheaton Regional Park
Enter a world filled with butterflies and have close encounters
with these beautiful creatures at the Brookside Gardens, before
enjoying a picnic (provided) at Wheaton Regional Park. After
lunch campers can ride the train and carousel, and play on
the park's amazing playground.
Fees
Each trip costs $70 for the day. Free transportation is available
this week. Child care is also available for $25 a day and includes
morning (8 - 9 am) and afternoon (4 - 6 pm).
